Monday Morning Reset: Is Your First Aid Ready for the Week?
Monday morning is more than just a fresh start for your production schedule—it’s the most important time to audit your safety "First Line of Defense." After the weekend shift or a two-day shutdown, things in a busy facility have a way of moving around.
At Your Safety Company, we believe the best time to find an empty eyewash station is during a Monday morning check—not during a Monday afternoon emergency.
The 60-Second Monday Walkthrough
Before the machines reach full speed, take one minute to check your portable eye stations. Here is what you’re looking for:
-
The Handle Check: Our stations are designed for mobility with a heavy-duty top handle. Did the station get moved to a temporary job site over the weekend? Ensure it’s back in its designated high-risk zone or securely wall-mounted.
-
The Shield Check: Is the drop-down dust cover closed? This simple feature is what keeps your 16oz bottles pristine. If the cover was left open, give the bottles a quick wipe-down to ensure the next user has a clean grip.
-
The Seal Check: Look at the tamper-evident seals on your #616 refills. If a bottle was used for a minor irritation over the weekend, it needs to be replaced immediately to maintain 100% sterile compliance for the rest of the week.
Why Portability Matters on Mondays
Monday often brings new tasks, new zones, and sometimes new employees. The beauty of our station is that it adapts. If your team is setting up a new temporary station for a chemical pour or a grinding job, you don't need to call a plumber.
-
Grab and Go: Use the handle to bring professional-grade, dual-action relief (washing and neutralizing) exactly where the work is happening.
Don’t Start the Week Short-Handed
A safety station is only as good as the solution inside. If you noticed your #616 inventory is low during your walkthrough, today is the day to restock.
Start your week with the confidence that your team is protected.
