Description
The Stanco TT40-712AF solves one of the most common challenges in electrical safety: heat buildup and fogging inside protective headgear. This hood features a permanently attached, battery-powered dual-fan system that provides nine hours of continuous air circulation. With one fan pulling fresh air in and a second fan pushing warm air out, the system creates a consistent cross-flow that significantly reduces the temperature inside the hood.
Constructed from dual-ply Westex UltraSoft® fabric (13 oz. and 9 oz. layers), this hood delivers a certified 40 cal/cm² rating for NFPA 70E CAT 4 environments. The combination of advanced cooling technology and the soft, breathable 88/12 cotton/nylon blend makes this an ideal choice for extended maintenance procedures in warm environments.
Advanced Cooling & Visibility:
-
9-Hour Continuous Operation: The battery-powered circulation system is designed to last a full work shift on a single charge.
-
Dual-Fan Circulation: Features a unique intake and exhaust fan setup to ensure air is constantly moving, not just recirculating.
-
Integrated Face Shield: The 1 or 2-ply shield is securely attached with FR Hook and Loop, allowing for easy cleaning or replacement.
-
Worker Comfort: Designed for circulation purposes to prevent lens fogging and heat exhaustion without the bulk of external filtration units.
