Description

The Stanco AR630 is a professional-grade 30-inch jacket engineered for the intense radiant heat of the foundry floor. Built with 16 oz. Aluminized PFR Rayon®, this jacket provides a high-performance barrier that reflects radiant energy while remaining flexible enough for active tasks. Whether you are tending a furnace or managing high-temperature machinery, the AR630 delivers the durability and thermal defense required for heavy industrial use.

Heavy-Duty Construction:

  • Aluminized PFR Rayon® Shell: The 16 oz. material is designed to reflect 95% of radiant heat, significantly reducing the heat load on the wearer. The aluminized finish also provides excellent protection against sparks and minor molten splash.

  • DuPont™ Kevlar® Stitching: To ensure the jacket holds up under extreme thermal stress, every seam is lock-stitched with Kevlar® thread. This prevents seam failure or "burning out" in high-heat zones.

  • Stand-Up Safety Collar: Features a 9 oz. FR Green Cotton collar that can be worn up to protect the neck from sparks and radiant burns, providing an extra layer of soft, flame-resistant comfort.

Key Features & Specifications:

  • Secure Closure: Equipped with concealed front snap closures to prevent metal hardware from heating up.

  • Leather Pull-Tabs: Integrated leather tabs allow for easy opening and closing even while wearing heavy high-heat gloves.

  • 30-Inch Length: Provides ideal torso protection that pairs perfectly with aluminized leggings or pants.

  • P.B.I.® Thermal Integrity: Utilizes high-stability materials that maintain their protective properties even after repeated exposure to intense heat.

Ideal Applications:

  • Steel & Iron Foundries: Protection during furnace charging and tapping.

  • Welding & Forging: High-level defense against heavy sparks and radiant glow.

  • Glass Manufacturing: Handling materials near high-temperature kilns.
